When Katie Bouman broke those barriers and presented the world with the first image of a black hole, she proved that “science can see what is impossible to be seen.” Design, on the other hand, can reframe what was previously impossible to be changed. Design subverts preconceived ideas. It makes new meanings visible.
This is the purpose of the Bouman line, as a glimpse of the infinite possibilities of materials, forms, and meanings that display the re-evolution of Brazilian furniture. Bouman. A new dimension of Brazilian design.
Designed by Matthias Ambros von Holleben for Mezas Design Co.
The Bouman Set is a table and bench set that combines technology with sophisticated and contemporary aesthetics. It consists of the connection of steel tubes into a single element and gives the project a sophisticated touch.
