kwer makes no difference. It is suitable for young and old, for people with and without disabilities. kwer means independence when eating.
kwer is built on the needs of people for whom eating with conventional dishes is a challenge. Whether with a physical limitation or a congenital condition, we all want to eat independently and without the need for external assistance.
The set is developed in close collaboration with the target group. Numerous insights from conversations with professionals from institutions as well as relatives and users are incorporated into the design.
Thanks to its slanted design, raised rim, and non-slip bottom, kwer enables simplified handling. The chosen materials, both the polypropylene and ceramic variants, prioritize user-friendliness and durability.
With dversa.studio, the two product designers Noëmi Burkhalter and Benjamin Schalk have set themselves the goal of creating independence through design.
