In Berlin Design Week we present our acoustic panels S.

These panels grown from mushroom mycelium and industrial waste have great acoustic properties, but mycelium materials have many other positive sides. In addition they are biodegradable, fire resistant, buoyant and astounding to look at – and even more satisfying to touch!<br /><br />

Each panel has an individual pattern created by nature itself and is perfect for decoration of your office space or home. The process of growing this material has been stopped before any fruiting bodies and spores could form so it will not keep growing on your wall – which makes it perfectly safe for any indoor environment. Allergic reactions are excluded.<br /><br />

Not many industries can say that the bigger they grow, the smaller their carbon footprint! One panel has a footprint of ca -1,5kg CO2 as mycelium binds the organic material containing carbon – this has been calculated by using the Life Cycle Assessment methodology.<br /><br />
