Nicole Michel was born in Bad Kreuznach and grew up in Singapore. She studied design at the University of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim and at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In Siena, Colle val D’Elsa she designed furniture at the architecture firm Archirivolto. Since 2001, she has worked at Bombardier, now Alstom. There she has been team leader for Industrial Design Interior since 2012. She has managed numerous international projects in the field of industrial design, for example the high-speed train “Zefiro China” or the “Talent 3” for the Austrian Federal Railways.
