Industrial upcycling is a design-based circular fashion approach where pre-consumer textile waste is repurposed and sent back into production. It is a combination of system design and product design. Implementing upcycling on the industrial level reduces the environmental impact of a garment- up to 80% of the leftover materials can be circulated back to production. One upcycled T-shirt saves, on average, 75% water and 88% energy and emits 80% less CO2 than a T-shirt made from virgin material. Made in Beximco, Bangladesh
