Urban Signals is the first furniture collection by Neuendorf Arterior and explores how visual codes in the urban environment shape human behavior.<\/p>\n
Markings, guidance systems and elements of defensive architecture are not neutral design decisions. They organize movement, direct attention and define who is allowed to occupy space. They create order, but also exclusion.<\/p>\n
The collection translates these systems into sculptural seating objects. Graphic signals become volume, warning colors become material, control becomes physical presence. What creates distance in the city is transformed into proximity.<\/p>\n
Urban Signals operates between design and art. The works are conceived as limited, collectible pieces rather than conventional products, functioning as spatial interventions.<\/p>\n
