For more than 30 years designtransfer has provided a stage, gallery and communication platform for the College of Architecture, Media and Design at Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and initiates and coordinates a public exchange between the fields of study – Architecture, Product and Fashion Design, Communication in Social and Economic Contexts, Visual Communication and Art and Media – and national and international universities, cultural institutions and design studios.

For this years BERLIN DESIGN WEEK designtransfer presents the Graduate Projects of Product Design. The research in the context of the Design Master theme DESIGN AND INTERCULTURALITY includes the similarities and differences between craft, art and design; the cyborgization of humans; the streets of Berlin; design principles of physical riddles; beds for the sleepless; personalized circular fabrication and retreats.

The Master Graduate Projects of Fashion are displayed at the foyer of the UdK building Hardenbergstrasse 33 in an exhibition 11 October, 10am – 6pm
