Sustainability is a big topic. The Greens have positioned themselves very promisingly for the upcoming election, the German automotive industry has embraced e-mobility and is now possibly putting Tesla in a bind, sustainable tourism is booming.

Brands need to position themselves in line with sustainability to avoid being discredited. And in the product world, it will probably no longer be enough to refer to energy efficiency in the future, but customer retention or new customer acquisition may require cooperation between manufacturers or brands and customers.

What does this mean for companies, for their brands, and what requirements will result for product development and design?
