The Bröhan-Museum gives a curator’s tour through parts of the newly designed permanent exhibition. After the First World War, functionalism became widely accepted. Progressive art schools such as the Bauhaus in Weimar or the Burg Giebichenstein in Halle contributed significantly to this development, which also reached larger sections of the population in projects such as the New Frankfurt.

The Bröhan-Museum has a unique collection of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and the art of the Berlin Secession at its disposal. On an exhibition area of around 1000 square metres, it shows a presentation from the collection which changes every two years.
