How do you achieve enlightenment with a fruit? How can space debris be collected? Why is there actually no sports magazine for women? And is there a difference between typography for men and women? Answers and solutions to these and many other questions can be found in the exhibition organised by the HAWK Faculty of Design in Hildesheim as part of Berlin Design Week 2024. In the HAWK’s “Projektor” showroom in the Metropolenhaus at Markgrafenstraße 88 – directly opposite the Jewish Museum – the Faculty of Design is presenting outstanding final projects from the last two semesters.
All of the works on display have been honoured by the HAWK Faculty of Design for outstanding achievements. In addition, the exhibition provides an insight into the design studies of the Faculty of Design and the fields of competence Advertising Design, Branding Design, Digital Environments, Colour Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Lighting Design, Metal Design and Product Design. The award-winning exhibits were supervised by professors Sabine Cole, Dominika Hasse, Melanie Isverding, Christoph Lemmer, Mathias Rebmann, Matthias Ries, Timo Rieke, Andreas Schulz and Günter Weber, and the exhibition was organised under the direction of professors Dominika Hasse, Mathias Rebmann and Matthias Ries.
