VDID New Talents Award 2025

The VDID New Talents Award stands for design concepts that inspire desirable futures. We support young designers who address relevant problems with well-thought-out, innovative ideas, challenging the status quo and seeking systemic solutions. Projects that acknowledge complexity while still developing tangible solutions. Technical perfection and aesthetics were not the primary focus – what mattered most was the determination to bring positive change.

Our expert jury, consisting of 10 VDID members with a wide range of expertise, selected a shortlist of projects from over 120 submissions to be nominated for the VDID New Talents Award 2025. The top three projects on the shortlist were honored as winners. In addition, the special prize “Light in the Product, sponsored by Mentor” and an audience award were presented.
Following the award ceremony in October 2025, we are now once again showcasing the shortlisted projects and winners.
