Ben Weide is a designer and also the namesake for the Berlin fashion label, which has combined high-quality design with sustainable production since 2013. What does this mean? Quite simply. The production runs locally at a high-fashion level. All collection pieces are designed in Berlin. The fabrics and all ingredients used in a jacket come from local manufacturers. For example, the zippers come from Saxony-Anhalt and the buttons from Baden-Württemberg. “My vision was a clothing line that combines my passion for outstanding fabrics with as regional production as possible and uncomplicated, contemporary comfort and lived sustainability,” says designer Ben Weide. The label is known for well-thought-out outdoor-to-business wear—the pieces are as comfortable on a bicycle as they are later in a meeting. All this with fabrics you would want to “snuggle into.”
