My work is both intentional and unintentional. I find fascination in certain coincidental phenomena and distortions of forms that occur over time in nature, and I began expressing them in my own way by applying them to clay. In the process of recreating forms, unexpected effects are once again born from my fingertips. The Petals is a work that applies the form of flowers wilting to clay. I wanted to capture the natural phenomenon of all life wilting gracefully.
