Atelier Kaplan is a textile design studio founded by textile designer, Hannah Kaplan. Her designs embrace artistic innovation yet incorporate traditional techniques to create one of a kind sustainable, luxurious, hand embellished fabrics. Inspired by classic french textile ateliers and Kaplan’s work experience with Le Studio Anthost, in New York City, Atelier Kaplan collaborates with fashion and interior designers using traditional techniques and concepts while simultaneously breaking rules to produce timeless and unique designs. Atelier Kaplan gives great importance to quality as well as to the sustainability of their fabrics. The use of exclusively natural fibers and dyes insures an eco-friendly product that is lovingly handcrafted in Germany. Born and raised on Kodiak Island, Alaska, Hannah Kaplan moved to Europe in 2009 and has since settled in the city of Berlin, establishing Atelier Kaplan in 2022.
