Berlin Design Week 2025: 14,500 Visitors Celebrate Design in the Capital

Berlin Design Week 2025 attracted more than 14,500 visitors from May 15 to 18. With over 90 participating studios, brands and institutions, 5 central hubs and 77 satellite locations, the festival was more diverse than ever before.

From May 15 to 18, Berlin once again transformed into a vibrant stage for visionary design, relevant themes and inspiring encounters. More than 14,500 visitors made Berlin Design Week 2025 a strong statement for design, innovation and exchange.

From talks on biocircular materials and future-oriented interior design, to exhibitions across curated hubs and countless personal conversations – Berlin’s design scene came alive with energy and diversity.

Over 90 participating studios, brands and institutions helped shape more than 50 events city-wide. With 5 central hubs and 77 satellite locations, Berlin Design Week 2025 was more diverse and far-reaching than ever before.

Highlights included the keynote by British designer Tom Dixon, a two-day press tour, and the new professional conference “The Berlin Format”, drawing experts and enthusiasts from across the globe to Berlin.

BDW 2025 was organized under the leadership of Alexandra Klatt, founder of state of DESIGN and initiator of Berlin Design Week.
