Next Edition: May 10.—18., 2025

The ability to believe in desirable and positive futures and to develop visions is an important future skill. The belief that futures can be shaped is the prerequisite for actively engaging to shape them.

This short workshop focuses on the systemic method of the “Futures Wheel”, used in futures research. Together with the participants, possible future events and their effects will be analyzed.

This workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to get into the practice of shaping the future.
No prior knowledge is required.

This is the first workshop in the 3-part workshop series “Transforming the Future by (system) Design” and offers the opportunity to get an introduction to different methods from System Design and Futures Thinking. To examine the now from a systems lens, understand inter-relationships, discover new perspectives and develop creative solutions to challenges.

All workshops can also be attended individually.
