As part of Berlin Design Night, FABIAN FREYTAG presents his project “BUILDING PARADISE” – an exploration of the volcanic island of Lanzarote.
Inspired by the island’s unique landscape and architecture, FREYTAG’s book and accompanying artworks will be on display in an exhibition at the FABIAN FREYTAG GALLERY.
The event poses fundamental questions: Where does paradise begin, and where does it end? What is given, and what is man-made? What role do architecture and design play in this context? And what happens when only unreality is taken as a given?
Can a “test-tube paradise” exist – or does it take untouched nature to define such a state?
