Sweef, a Swedish e-commerce company founded in 2011, offers high-quality, custom-made furniture at fair prices. With a wide selection of colors and materials, Sweef enables customers to bring their unique interior dreams to life. In addition to its online store, visitors can experience the furniture in person at the showroom in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
During Berlin Design Week, Sweef not only showcases its furniture collection but also opens the doors to host artist Uwe Schmidt’s exclusive works. Uwe Schmidt is an internationally active artist and designer from Berlin, known for his experimental and unique surface designs, often made from materials such as stone, metal and wood. And for this upcoming occasion Uwe has created one unique art piece that will be integrated into Sweef’s modular sofa Dromedaren – a sculptural interpretation in which his organic choice of materials and characteristic design language merge with Dromedaren’s playful design.
Other highlights in Sweef’s showroom include the chance to configure sofas entirely to personal preferences using Sweef’s 3D tool, and viewing a small presentation of Sweefy Homes, created in collaboration with influencers and magazines, on screen. At the center of the exhibition are also two extraordinary products: the previously mentioned Dromedaren modular sofa and the vibrant Kameleonten table series. The Dromedaren stands out for its bubbly design and ability to offer almost limitless adaptability, meanwhile the colorful Kameleonten tables (exclusively available at Sweef and designed by renowned furniture designer Johan Hellström) adds vibrancy and character to any space.
